Go On, Go On, Go On - Its your round! Insch Golf Club is leading the way in this exciting field. Last year we played this fascinating game for the first time. Unfortunately the weather decided to turn nasty so we had only a limited number of games. Heres hoping for a better winter. It goes like this. The course is laid out using lightsticks. There are three kinds of lightsticks each 6in in length. Green to mark the fairways and Red to indicate hazards. Around the green you use Blue ones and at the hole itself a Green one on the flagstick and a bracelet shaped one in the hole. |

| The Ball used is translucent with a small lightstick inserted into it. The tee also has a small lightstick to enable you to find it in the dark. | ||

| The course is laid out while it is still light and takes around an hour over a six-hole layout. It is entirely up to the organiser of each event whether players play 12 holes or 18. It would also be dependent on how many players you have for the game.
It is possible for 36 players to play 12 holes. It takes around one and a quarter hours to play the 6-hole layout. Suggested times of starting would be three players on each of the nine holes and a rocket start format at say 6pm. This game would finish around 8 - 8.30pm. A second set of 18 players would then be ready and their game would finish around 10.30 - 11pm. Soup and butteries would be served in the clubhouse from 8pm for both sets of players - some about to start and some just finishing. The facilities of the clubhouse would be available for all to use. The suggested days for these events are Friday or Saturday, but if needed any night could be arranged. We look forward to hearing from any companies or groups who would like to know more about this exciting and fun event held during the winter months.
