Inch of Insch Competition

From Aberdeen:

Travelling north on the A96 Aberdeen-Inverness road you by-pass Inverurie; then continue for 5-6 miles until you reach Oyne Fork. Bear left at Oyne Fork and follow the signs for Insch - approx 5 miles. Take the first right turn into the village; on reaching the village centre proceed over the crossroad with care. Golf Terrace is the first turning on the left.

From Huntly:

You have two choices. Either turn right off the A96 at the head of the Glens of Foudland (the first signpost to Insch) or proceed on the main road a few miles further south. Taking the first turn, Insch is approx 7 miles. On entering the village you will see the entrance to part of golf course on the right. Ignore this (and the Google map sign if you are using that) and proceed further 0.25 mile taking a left turn into Dunnydeer Park. Follow that road around - you will see the entrance to the golf club after the last house on the left.

Staying on the A96 beyond the Glens of Foudland continue on that road until you see a sign with a right turn towards Insch (Kettock Lodge Garden Centre is on the corner). Proceed on that road into Insch and take the first right turn into Market Street. Golf Terrace is the first turning on the left.

By Rail:

It is also possible to take the train to Insch although the service runs on an approximate two-hourly timetable.
